Gunfire From Cops, Not Bank Robbers, Killed Hostage

A Northern California mother taken hostage by bank robbers last month was killed by police gunfire during a high-speed chase and shootout with three suspects armed with a semiautomatic rifle, Stockton police said Monday.

Misty Holt-Singh, 41, was struck about 10 times by police bullets, according to a preliminary ballistics report. She was one of three women taken hostage by the gunmen during a holdup of a Bank of the West branch on July 16.

Well, this should speak to all bank employees. This is just one more senseless death, caused by the state's corrupt system. People should never risk their lives to protect the monopoly's money.

91102 I don't think she (or any others) "choose" to be taken hostage. She was grabbed wasn't she? I have no idea how police forces can get the idea it is ok to shoot into a vehicle with an innocent hostage in it.

It didn't used to be that way.
