Montgomery County police officer pleads guilty to assaulting wife

A Montgomery County police officer on Thursday pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife during an argument inside their Germantown home last year.

Eric Tehrani, a 12-year veteran of the force, pushed his wife against a wall, put his hands around her neck and threw her against a large desk, according to prosecutors. She was examined by doctors, and had bruises consistent with her account, prosecutors said.
