Officers with the Moorefield Police Department have released an official statement of the events that occurred Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at a local Sheetz gas station parking lot.
Police say around 9:30 p.m. an officer initiated a traffic stop at the gas station. During the traffic stop, police say a question arose involving the individuals inside the vehicle being in possession of narcotics, which lead to the arrest of the driver.
