Yawn. These are the same PolitiHacks who said "Sarah Palin's death panels" were the "lie of the year" a few years ago, despite them being "built into" the law. This lie isn't the lie of the year, it was the lie of the year four years ago when he said it, four years ago when anyone with a clue knew it was a lie the moment it came out of his mouth. The PolitiHacks were too busy creating straw-men to demonize the opposition to this law to take the time to actually investigate Schmobama's obvious lies at the time, now they think they can make up for it four years later. Obama and his team made matters worse, suggesting they had been misunderstood all along. The stunning political uproar led to this: a rare presidential apology. For all of these reasons, PolitiFact has named "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it," the Lie of the Year for 2013. Readers in a separate online poll overwhelmingly agreed with the choice. Read More |
