17454 People need to wake up and pull their kids out of school and homeschool them. Sending your kids to school only shows support for this kind of crap.

16240 The teacher couldn't handle this situation? The principle couldn't either? Really? They called a cop who wrote a ticket for wearing too much perfume?? That's ridiculous, I wonder if what this officer says when he goes home in the evening goes something like this?

Wife:" How was work today?"

School cop: "Extremely dangerous, busted a 6th grader for possession of chemical weapons. Had to go through an hour and a half of decontamination this afternoon, we had to close the school, should take about a week for the hazmat crew to clean up the building. The perp is on the way to Guantanamo for detention and interrogation, chief says I'll probably get a medal."

17454 is right, home school the kids, and seriously, every time we get an opportunity to vote on a budget issue to expand the schools or law enforcement we need to vote to withhold funds and curtail financial support for people who treat our children this way.

75145 17454 & 16240,

I don't see why I have to homeschool after 80% of my property tax, about 6 grand/year, goes to fund public school. How about money back.

I think, more appropriate response should be becoming vocal with the local government and let them know that this is not going to be tolerated. If electorate instead of taking action goes into silent withdrawal, the abuse of power will be only increasing.

If you ask me, those bullies should be the ones to receive these tickets.
