7-year-old playing an imaginary game at school gets suspended for real



LOVELAND, Colo. — A 2nd grader has been suspended from school in Loveland for a make believe game he was playing.

The 7-year-old says he was trying to save the world. But school administrators say he broke a key rule during his pretend play.

“I was trying to save people and I just can’t believe I got dispended,” says Alex Evans, who doesn’t understand his suspension any better than he can pronounce it.

66108 Imagination is a serious crime, drug this criminal immediately. Can you imagine if people just went around day to day carrying thoughts and ideas, someone could get hurt! Oh for shame. Seriously though its scary hearing this parents trying to string a sentence together. All of this false reasoning needs to be called out on, it should not acceptable to just stand there and roll your eyes in an attempt to delude yourself and others.

68227 This is what we have become. Really. It is sad to think that children cant play, because the adults have become so hyper paranoid. Do you think maybe the adults need to shut off the tube, for a while, and reflect where we are headed. Its almost too late.
