After getting in an argument with his 9-year-old sister, 23-year-old Woonsocket police officer Patrick Cahill, according to a police report, grabbed and dragged his 9-year-old sister by her hair, then "put his hand around her throat and began to strangle her," reports NBC's Turn to 10: According to a police report, the girl says she and her sister were watching television at Cahill's father's house with the officer when she asked to go outside.The cop was already suspended with pay for unknown reasons at the time these charges were filed, he has since been charged with felony assault and suspended without pay.
