After being called to provide medical help to a woman in need, an Ohio cop shot a family's dog which allegedly charged at him and accidentally hit their four year old daughter with his stray bullet.
The family claims after the shooting the officer got back into his car and eventually drove off without telling them whether he called for help and without asking if their daughter was OK.
From Inside Edition:
A cop accidentally shot a four-year-old girl while responding to an incident inside her home.Andrea Ellis writes of the officer's actions after the shooting on Facebook:
Her mother, Andrea Ellis, had cut her arm on some glass in her house near Columbus, Ohio, and her sister called 911 for help.
“She's bleeding all over the place!" her sister said in the call. "I need a paramedic!"
By coincidence, a cop on a routine call happened to be on the block. She called out to him for help.
"Sir, can you get me a paramedic?! I need a paramedic here!” she said.
But as the cop approached the house, events took a horrific turn. Cops said the family pet - a boxer-terrier mix named Patches, charged at the officer.
The cop fired his gun, and the bullet hit Andrea's four-year-old daughter, Ava, in the leg, shattering the bone.
"She asked me several times, 'Mommy, am I gonna die?'" Andrea Ellis told INSIDE EDITION.
Officer Thomas never said sorry, never said it was an accident, never said that he called for help or was going to call for help, never asked if Ava was ok, ... (more)

Government regulations have already ruined our dishwashers. The need to wash dishes twice or pre-wash is already an entrenched reality due to previous regulations which pushed washer makers to use only a paltry 6.5 gallons a wash, now the bureaucrats at the Department of Energy want washers to use only a pathetic 3.1 gallons, and the industry is freaking out.

When you comply, all the sudden you're surrounded by a gang of cops who accuse you of acting as a "bandit cab" driver -- someone who takes money under the table for rides, rather than funnel cash through Uber and in... (more)
The 'Recycling' Scam Falls Apart

Since it's inception, recycling has always been a scam. With the exception of aluminum, all recycled products require more energy to be "recycled" than to be made fresh. Nonetheless, governments and environmentalists have profited off such schemes as recycling plants serve as both a handout to politically connected corporations and a jobs scheme for opportunist politicians. The scam is finally now coming to an end as the economic reality is setting in.
